Hi Fernando

 

 

If you mean you want your users to be able to customize the reports, then you have two choices:

 

1) The users will have to obtain the SAP Crystal Reports Designer. A 30 day eval is available here:

SME Free Trials | SME Software | SAP

 

2) You add code to your project that take advantage of the report creation APIs available in the InProc RAS SDK which is included with "SAP Crystal Reports, Developer Version for Visual Studio .NET".  For more information re. the InProc RAS SDK see:

Exit / badi XD01 to assign class in classification

Hi all,

 

I need to assign a default class in clasification option when creating the customer, I try to exit EXIT_SAPMF02D_001 but if the user don´t enters in classification option I can not access to fields RMCLF-CLASS, RMCLF-STATUS, RMCLF-ZAEH and RCTMS-MWERT.

Hi Sean

 

What is the database and what connection are you using (ODBC, OLE DB...)? Are you able to create a new report?

 

Taking a shot in the dark:

 

For OLE DB use:

 

MS SQL 2005 - OLE DB Provider

MS SQL 2008 - SQL Native 10

MS SQL 2012 - SQL Native 11

MS SQL 2013 - SQL Native 11

 

 

For ODBC use:

 

MS SQL 2005 - SQL Native

MS SQL 2008 - SQL Native 10

MS SQL 2012 - SQL Native 11

MS SQL 2013 - SQL Native 11

Dennis,

 

I agree further details are not given in that discussion. I will suggest you to raise an OSS message to SAP with a screen shot of errors you are getting in FB08 and FB03. If errors are because of product bug than SAP will release correction note for updating standard program.

 

I will also suggest you to update this discussion with details once you come to conclusion.

Hi Akhila,

 

we received below is error log after executing scenario.

 

"Error occurred when loading keystore from netweaver keystorage - Ariba .This can be because the view does not exist."


it looks we need to create keystore in NW and maintain the same in trust store view in receiver communication channel.


please guide how to create key store in NW.

Copy task in ECCS from one dimension/version to another dimension/version

We would like to copy reported data from dimension A and version A into dimension B and version b for the same cons unit. In dimension A version A the data transfer method is real-time update, so there is no task for data collection. Thus far we have been unable to configure the copy task to accomplish this and would therefore greatly appreciate any suggestions regarding this. Thanks, Dan

Hi Andy,

Appreciate your reply. The error I was getting is "Error in refreshing the report" with runtime VBA error number.

 

I made the following changes to the report. In BPC dimension i Updated all the members with sortorder and modified member sorting and grouping with sortorder property. That did the trick.

How can you load hieararchy if you don't load master data first?

Please state steps in point format.

 

eg.

1. load master data from flat file

2. load description from flat file

3. load hierarchy from flat file

4. load from info object

...

...

...

BW has reached 7.4 SP10 and there are multiple changes /additions coming within each SP level.

Hi Ashish,

 

Have you managed to solve this issue? I am trying to add some custom fields in the BO EmployeeTimeRecordingView but it does not appear in the dropdown list when I create a BO extension.

 

The view I would like to create custom field is under "Employee Time" in the screenshot above. Please let me know if I choose the wrong BO.

Thank you Dirk .You are perfectly right .Now i have used the IP address and now i made 50 percent progress and now i can able to preview the data that means , now it is connecting to FTP .But

when i schedule the job it's throwing out error "FTP Could not transfer the File" as attached below.

Any setting needs to be made on the server.
